Synopsis
Although it once operated as a hot springs inn, Yuragi-sou is now a nearly empty boarding house with extremely low rents for those strange enough to live there. It is widely believed that the house features a vile ghost, who sends all potential renters away. For this reason, the dorm provides Fuyuzora Kogarashi with an affordable place to live and plenty of ghosts to vanquish.
He readies himself to face the ghost and finds out that it is nowhere as dangerous as many thought. Instead, we are guided by a lovely silver-haired girl who recalls nothing from before death except for her name: Yuuna. It’s even more surprising that the other residents of Yuragi-sou besides Yuuna can see her and each has some sort of unexplained skill. With the strange people around him making a mess, Kogarashi tries to find the regrets that hold Yuuna back, because if she stays abiding her promise, she may be condemned to the afterlife’s hell.
