Synopsis
Ken Kaneki has come to grips with the massive, flesh-fetishized part of his character he has been fearful and despised by many years. Kaneki's escape from captivity and torture led him to join Aogiri Tree, the militant ghoul group that had kidnapped him, leading his friends to question his true purpose and allegiance. The government's anti-ghoul agency, the Commission of Counter Ghoull, has intensified their efforts to completely remove ghulks from Tokyo as tensions between the two governments continue to rise. Kaneki's former comrades and friends, the ghostly spirits at the Anteiku coffee shop, are endangered by this threat. With the perilous situation at hand, Kaneki is confronted with a series of battles that endangers his precious momentary humanity.
