Aoashi - Plot Summary
In a small, quiet town out in the countryside, all eyes are on the local junior high football team—and specifically, one player named Ashito Aoi. He's known for his unpredictable moves and a playing style that's all about him, but he's also the driving force behind his team's success in a crucial high school preliminary tournament. Unfortunately, their winning streak doesn't last long. After getting pushed too far by an opponent, Ashito loses his cool, acts out, and gets ejected from the game.
With their star player benched, the team quickly gets knocked out of the tournament. Ashito is convinced his chance is over, but just then, a youth coach named Tatsuya Fukuda shows up. He sees something special in Ashito and invites him to try out for a team in Tokyo. Now in a new environment filled with talented players, Ashito has to dig deep and show what he's truly capable of. He needs to prove himself to maybe kickstart a career that could change his life.
