In a small town junior high school, a boy and a girl promise to be friends forever. For two years, their bond grows, but nothing really changes.
Himari Inuzuka is a cheerful girl still looking for her first love, and Yuu Natsume is a boy who loves plants and flowers. Now in their second year of high school, they enjoy their time together as best friends in the gardening club. "If Yuu can’t get married, I have to step up," she jokes. "Thanks to what Himari said, your brother now calls me 'My brother-in-law!' It’s a bit awkward!" But everything shifts when Yuu meets his first crush again. Their friendship starts to feel different. Can Himari break free from her idea of the perfect friend now that she’s found someone special?
